Sarcura, an innovative start-up located at the xista science park in Klosterneuburg, is on a mission to revolutionize the manufacturing of cell therapies through automation and miniaturization using cutting-edge silicon technologies integrated in microfluidic cartridges.

YOUR ROLE
Join our Technology Development team as a Senior Staff Electronic Engineer (Digital Design), where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing digital circuit design and FPGA solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the CTO, this senior level position requires the ability to work independently without supervision with a high level of accountability and curiosity.

What you bring

Education:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (Bachelor with 5-10 years work experience, or Masters or PhD with 5 years+ experience)

Technical skills:

Design, implement, and validate digital circuits using Xilinx FPGAs
Profiency in Hardware Description Languages (HDLs), specifically VHDL and Verilog.
Use Xilinx design tools and simulation software to validate and optimize designs.
Experience in developing embedded systems, particularly using ARM-based microcontrolers.
Knowledge in embedded C/C++ programming and familiarity with embedded Linux.
Experience with interfacing and integrating FPGA’s with other electronic components.
Knowledge of signal integrity analysis and power integrity analysis.
Knowledge of standard communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, PCI Express).
Experience with debugging tools and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Experience with best practices in code documentation and verstion control
Familiarity with PCB design is a plus
Experience in multifunctional team enviroment is a plus
